Ecovia Energy Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a manufacturer-backed and installation warranty to ensure peace of mind and confidence in your EV charger purchase and installation. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities under the warranty.
Warranty Coverage
a. Manufacturer Warranty
Each EV charger installed by Ecovia comes with a standard manufacturer warranty, which typically ranges from 3 to 5 years depending on the brand and model. Full manufacturer terms can be found in the documentation provided with your charger.
This warranty generally covers: Internal faults or defects in materials or workmanship, Failure under normal use conditions, Malfunctions not caused by external damage or improper usage.
b. Installation Warranty
We offer a 3-year workmanship warranty on all charger installations carried out by Ecovia-certified installers. This covers: Installation faults, Wiring or mounting issues, Electrical performance related to the install.
Exclusions
The following are not covered under this warranty: Damage due to misuse, vandalism, neglect, flooding, fire or theft. Damage caused by third-party repair or tampering, Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) that does not affect functionality, Failures due to customer modifications or installations not carried out by us, Software updates or app-related issues (these are handled by the charger manufacturer)
How to Make a Warranty Claim

You will need: Your original order number or installation reference. A clear description and photo(s) of the issue. Access for inspection or re-attendance by an approved installer if necessary.
Remedies
Depending on the nature of the issue, and once verified, we may: Repair or replace the defective charger, Re-perform the installation at no additional cost, Coordinate with the manufacturer for warranty service
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for: Keeping the area around your charger safe and accessible, Reporting any problems promptly, Ensuring your charger is used in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines
Transferability
This warranty is transferable only if the property and the charger remain together, and we are notified of the change in ownership.
